Important, these aren't supermarket dates

Most people in the UK have only ever tasted one type of date: supermarket Medjool, which is typically glazed, treated, and processed to look and feel uniform. Our dates are completely different, and when you open this box, you'll notice that immediately.

Here's what natural, unprocessed dates actually look and feel like:

• Each variety looks different. Some are dark and wrinkled (Ajwa, Kalmi). Some are golden and semi-dry (Sukri). Some are pale and firm (Amber, Mabroom). None of them looks like supermarket dates that's the point.
• Some will feel drier or firmer than you expect. Varieties like Mabroom, Amber, and Sukri are naturally low-moisture. This is not a quality issue, it's the variety being exactly what it's supposed to be.
• There's no gloss or shine. That comes from glazing agents used in commercial processing. Our dates have none of that.
• The sweetness varies a lot. Medjool and Sukri are sweeter. Kalmi and Mabroom are less so. Tasting them side by side is the whole point of this bundle.
• Sizes and shapes vary within each pack. Natural produce isn't uniform. Variation is a sign of authenticity, not inconsistency.
